Roots are what brings the caregivers and their children to this opportunity. What about how they were raised, what they believe, what fascinates them or from their own experiences brought them here?  The actual adventure will provide the children in attendance with roots that they may or may not have found to grow from.

Caregiver presence is about the time and the quality of moments that are shared.  The time during this adventure creates a nest within itself where caregivers and children can relate, connect, and dream together.  Upon returning from an adventure, participants will add pieces of this magical nest to their family nest providing an additional layer of richness.

Children who participate will use the roots and nest created to launch into life.  Those planning the event will gain wings as they see what they are capable of.  Caregivers attending this event will grow wings that take them higher in their connections and relationships.  Artists and colleagues will strengthen their wings with this opportunity to connect and grow.

Dedicated time to focus on parenthood and your relationship with your child.

Parental presence is powerful.

Adventures

We believe that everyone in attendance should feel the roots, nest and wings at each event.  We believe that this feeling is a right and should not be tied to financial ability.  The PUA designs each event to include 50% paying attendees and 50% scholarship attendees.

A shared adventure deepens the bond between caregiver and child.  It creates a space for excitement and wonder through a shared experience.  What Roots brought them to this opportunity?  How will these Roots deepen during this time?  Adventures will be created that utilize nature and the arts to connect to culture and the symbolic importance that artists have in culture.  Culture is a part of our roots.  Without strong roots, adventures are not possible.

Dedicated time together strengthens relationships and helps to add additional layers of richness to a nest. Caregiver presence is about the time and the quality of moments that are shared.  Caregiver presence is powerful neurologically and physically.  We know that finding time and planning time is hard.  We want to plan that time for you and your family.  We want to set up adventures that will leave attendees feeling whole and enriched.

Presence is powerful.
